Eteach.com, the UK’s number one education recruitment website, has launched a new premium news review and commentary service to complement its existing free daily news feed.
Daily Education News from eteach.com, was the first service of its kind to be launched in the UK, and was designed to provide fast, easy-to-read education news for everyone working in education, from school and college leaders and managers to classroom teachers and support staff.
The latest news is posted every work day morning by 9am, and brings together education-related news items, sourced from the UK’s leading media outlets, including the BBC and all major national newspapers. Readers can simply scan a précis on their laptops or PCs of the latest news stories or link to the full articles for more depth. Due to popular demand eteach.com has now added to its free service with a regular updated commentary and analysis of each week’s main education stories. Subscribers to the new service will also be able to link through to the popular eteach.com online forum, where they can express and exchange their views on education with a global audience.
Another useful element of the subscription service will be the ‘Westminster and Whitehall’ section. Here readers will be able to find out about all the latest legislation affecting the education sector and follow the progress of DCSF projects, plans and proposals.
Subscribers to the new service will also have access to the latest information coming out of think tanks on education matters. This will give readers the ‘heads up’ on leadingedge thinking about education policy and practice.
In another section, readers can see what conferences and events are taking place and decide which ones are the most relevant to them and their school or college. This section will not only let you know what’s happening where and when, but will offer a description of each event taking place.
Individual subscriptions cost £30 a year, which works out at a pocket-friendly 60 pence a week, all payable online! Alternatively the service is available for group subscription at a cost of £150 for primary schools or £250 for secondary schools.
