Eteach, the leading UK teacher job website, announced today that in October it saw a 100% uplift in job searches on the same period in 2005.
Paul Howell’s, Eteach’s CEO, says, ‘Teachers are using our job site to research their next career move. It is pivotal for their career development that teachers select schools which suit their chosen career path. We are pleased to help teachers by encouraging school advertisers to upload background details of school results, their ethos, profile, etc. Therefore applicants are much better informed and this can save a school time and money on the recruitment process.
‘Further to the job searches, 46,000 application forms were downloaded from Eteach in October. We anticipate the number of job searches will increase in November and again in January.’
These results follow an extensive re-vamp of their site and the appointment of Sarah Wain and Kirsten Corney to the Eteach marketing team in July and September this year.
