Press Release: April 2009
Paul Howells, founder of the UK’s leading education recruitment website, Eteach.com, introduces a
complete “end to end” recruitment solution, which will allow schools to save time and money, as well
as ensuring that they are making the best possible appointments
Did you know that, according to the DCSF, at least £120 million is spent by schools on education
recruitment advertising and associated costs each year? This is at least £100 million too much!
Eteach will be introducing “Eteach Premium,” in April, a brand new interactive website, which
includes easy access to job loading, school profiles, job broadcasting and an integrated Applicant
Tracking System (ATS). This will allow recruiters to:
- Advertise unlimited teaching jobs at a low rate
- Advertise non-teaching jobs for free on a network of websites
- Distribute jobs - across multiple websites and press media from one desktop interface
- Shortlist, arrange interviews and generally manage candidates easily with ATS
- Receive online management information, available 24/7
Paul continues, ““Eteach Premium” is the most cost-effective way that a school can find quality
teaching and non-teaching staff. “
Whilst most ATS systems restrict users to one medium’s candidates, Eteach has developed an open
system, allowing schools to enter candidates from online and offline sources, traditional and nontraditional
media platforms right through to local and national press, as well as other job boards.
Paul says, “Recruiters have a simple tool with which they can manage their entire recruitment
process. There is no need to rely on outdated paper- based methods anymore; the benefits of using the
internet are there for all of us to see.”
By switching to using the internet, individual schools could be saving thousands of pounds per year
on recruitment advertising, printing, postage and paper costs. He continues, “We are committed to
ensuring schools receive a premium service that doesn’t cost the earth; the internet is faster, cheaper
and greener. With an online and paperless system we could release up to £100 million to be better
used by schools.”
