Role summary


Reporting to the Online Telesales Manager, the Regional/Key Account Manager is responsible for generating revenue from the vibrant education resources market through selling eteach’s portfolio of products and services to an identified group of accounts.

The Regional/Key Account Manager must also act as the interface between the customer and all of our brands, advising customers where appropriate to consider the parts of our product portfolio that help resolve their recruitment challenges.

Regional/Key Account Managers must be skilled in understanding the recruitment challenges customers face when trying to recruit the best people into their roles, and advise them on the right solutions accordingly, consultatively selling via the telephone and face to face client meetings. The purpose of the position is to develop incremental revenue from existing key accounts whilst also developing new revenue streams.

An enthusiasm for selling, people skills and the desire to achieve financial targets are the main attributes required to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities


Build relationships with decision makers and those involved in the recruitment process to increase sales of the eteach portfolio of products and services into the identified group of accounts. Achieve agreed targets through the following activity:

  • Selling bespoke solutions and online advertising packages.
  • Building relationships with key senior-level decision makers.
  • Plan time effectively and be highly organised.
  • Complete the required level of sales calls (mix phone/visits) to achieve the necessary activity to achieve targets.
  • Continually prospect for new business whilst actively managing and increasing sales with current accounts.
  • Ensure that comprehensive strategies are in place for the development of each account.
  • Ensure effective communication with colleagues and managers is achieved.
  • Ensure that regular reporting back into the organisation is in an agreed format and timescale.

Key Requirements


  • Proven senior consultative selling experience into senior-level decision makers.
  • An understanding and knowledge of the Education market
  • Demonstrable experience in sales or marketing.
  • Commercial acumen
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Able to analyse and interpret volumes of data rapidly and effectively and use to provide support to a compelling sales story
  • Strong planning skills
  • Motivated by stretching targets.
  • Ability to think and act independently when opportunity arises.
