Cats Protection Welsh Language Resources for Primary and Secondary
Cats in the Classroom – Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 available in English and Welsh language. The primary resource offers flexible support for Literacy and Numeracy, and equivalent activities in the 5-14 Scottish curriculum. Citizenship and PSHE are also supported looking at themes of relationships, care for others, responsibility, the role of organizations and charities and looking after money. Using the themes of animal rights, pet care, responsibility, community and the media to explore the use of language and information to inform, provoke and persuade, the secondary resource pack provides support for English, PSHE and Citizenship at KS3 and within the 5-14 Curriculum in Scotland. ICT is central to this resource, which can be used as part of a peer-led learning project within a secondary school or in partner primary schools.
