To support schools with their extended schools provision, multisports4schools offer wraparound care through breakfast and after school activities.

Our coaches provide a variety of inclusive activities to ensure they are enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities

The after school club will provide opportunities for children to do their homework in a supported environment

Format

multisports4schools offers:

Breakfast club - 7:30am to 8:45am or school start time.

Afterschool club - 3.15pm to option of 5pm, 5.30pm or 6.30pm

Group ages - 3 groups of: 4-6 years, 7-9 years, and 9-11 years

All clubs have registration periods, free time and structured sessions.

The programme

Each programme is based on a six week half term cycle and has separate scheme plans per session. Each session is developed to give continuity of learning, enjoyment and fun. It is anticipated to further develop these schemes to fit with the national curriculum and the wider objectives of each individual school yet still have a unique personalised approach. Each club has a central base and a rotational schedule of activities per day(see below for an example)

Staff

• 1. A ratio of 1 to 12 or 1 to 8 is required by OFSTED although this varies from area to area.
• 2. Staff are a mixture of PE teachers, Primary school teachers, coaches and sports related graduates with current coaching qualifications.
• 3. All staff are CRB checked.
• 4. Staff selection underpins multisports4schools and all have been chosen for their compatibility to children as well as their coaching ability.
• 5. The club manager will have substantial experience in this sector and undertakes thorough training.
