Multisports4schools is offering Surrey primary schools the chance to “Get Set for London 2012” from January 2012.
Get Set for 2012 is a fantastic sports based workshop for key stage 1 and 2 pupils, which enables schools to celebrate London 2012 and explore the history, legacy and value of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Children will take part in a variety of sports activities which have been part of the Olympic programme since the very first games in Athens some 2,700 years ago. Points will be awarded during the session with results compared to other schools at the end of the year. The winning school will receive a visit from an Olympic athlete on London 2012 World Sport Day (25th June 2012).
We are recruiting self-employed, experienced PE teachers, sports coaches and educators to deliver these workshops across the county from January to July 2012.
Rate of pay is subject to experience. Training and equipment will be provided and all appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced CRB check.
If you are interested in getting involved, please send your CV and covering letter detailing your experience and why you would like to deliver these workshops to Laura Smith on 07912 393632.
