Addington High School

Addington High School is an 11-16 mixed community school with 840 pupils. The majority of pupils live in New Addington and Fieldway wards. There are areas of significant socio-economic deprivation. 83% of pupils are from families classed as ‘hard pressed’ – the lowest of five categories in the Index of Multiple Deprivation.

The school aims to improve life chances by raising standards through a relentless focus on improving the
quality of teaching and learning. They want all pupils to both enjoy and achieve through their school experience whilst developing the skills, understanding and personal qualities and confidence that support success in adult life and lifelong learning.
