Peel Hall is a Community Primary School for pupils age 3 - 11 years. The school is co-educational and there are presently 268 children on roll. The building, set in its own grounds, is attractive and well maintained. It is of a traditional classroom design, is on two levels and has two large halls.There is a nursery and ten other classes. Each class has a full time teacher. The nursery and the reception class have a teacher and an NNEBs (Nursery Nurses).Classroom Assistants work alongside teachers in Key Stage 1/2 classes.Peel Hall aims to offer a secure, stimulating and challenging environment within which both children and staff can grow, learn and achieve success in an atmosphere of mutual respect.It is a school with high expectations of both children and staff, which enjoys striving for quality in all aspects of school life.Peel Hall works in partnership with staff, parents and the community for the good of all the children.At the heart of this statement are people. Other subjects studied include: History; Geography; Music; Art; Physical Education; Design and Technology.For each of the curriculum subjects, the school has a policy and guidelines to structure teaching.A member of the Salford Music Service visits the school each week to support the teaching of music throughout the school on a rolling programme.
