Hayes is well served by public transport, viz six bus routes and British rail Western Region. The school has undergone considerable refurbishment in the past few years. Projects have included complete internal redecoration; the conversion of the school kitchen to a 45 FTE Nursery unit; also a new extension which houses nine classrooms, three group rooms, a library and a state of the art fully equipped ICT room. The school aims to provide an education which takes place in a Christian caring community. In partnership with parents and parish we hope to create a Christian atmosphere where the ethos and teaching of the Catholic faith permeates all aspects of school life. Our recent OFSTED report (May 2002) stated that our school was "a very good and effective school with a strong Christian ethos" The report also commented about the pupils excellent positive attitudes towards their learning, "relationships throughout the school are very good".
