Pupil Referral Unit
Luton Borough Council are establishing a new pupil referral unit.
The aim of the unit will be to provide a suitable alternative education on a short-term basis, for pupils who may not be able to attend mainstream school. They may have been permanently excluded or need some intervention strategies to help with anxieties, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The focus of the unit will be to maintain or re-establish attendance at mainstream school wherever possible
