Holy Rosary and St Anne's Catholic Primary School
Although the school is an inner city primary, it has extensive grounds including large playing fields, a wild garden and a much envied Zoneparc. It serves the Cathedral Church of St Anne in the city centre and the Holy Rosary parish in Chapeltown. This multicultural locality provides a rich mixture of children, most of whom attend the school's nursery or another local nursery before entering school. The School is well regarded in the locality and deemed by Ofsted 'to be an effective school that gives good value for money'. Our denominational Inspection report said: 'There is a strong emphasis on love, care and concern for the individual, good relationships are a key feature of the School and there is a strong sense of community. The School has excellent ICT facilities, including a computer suite, interactive white boards in all classrooms and a conference suite.
