Heber Primary School

Heber is a two form entry Primary School situated in a quiet road in East Dulwich. Our children, from a wide range of economic, religious and cultural backgrounds come together as a community, united by common values and aspirations.

We are within walking distance of both Dulwich Park and Dulwich Picture Gallery and a bus ride away from Tate Modern, The Globe Theatre and the Southbank. Our enriched curriculum means that we make full use of all these facilities. Our commitment to enrichment has led us to employ both artists in residence and a dedicated Art Teacher.

We have the highest aspirations for both pupils and staff. As OFSTED acknowledged, we are a ‘good school’ with a ‘relentless and expert focus on improving the quality of teaching and raising pupil’s level of achievement’. Because of the excellence of our self evaluation we also have ‘an outstanding capacity for further improvement’.
