Francis Holland is an academically selective school with girls drawn from a range of feeder preparatory and primary schools. The school is three form entry and the year group is divided into three teaching groups for most subjects. At GCSE level, many classes are even smaller. The combination of small teaching groups and well qualified, committed teachers means that every girl is helped to achieve her full potential
The school has a strong reputation for music, drama, art and sport and enjoys excellent facilities for each. The latest addition to the school is The Gloucester Wing, which was opened in May 2009 by HRH The Duke of Gloucester. It provides our existing 450 girls with enviable new facilities, including additional classrooms and seminar rooms, a performance area, for music, drama and theatre studies and a fourth art studio.
In addition the school's central London location means that we are able to take advantage of an excellent range of local museums, galleries and theatres to support all areas of the extensive curriculum.
