Overview

Spinney Hill Primary School is a successful school that prides itself on how it has transformed learning and outcomes for children through staff collaborating together to achieve the best for our children. We are a city primary school serving a multi-cultural area of Leicester, and we value the religious, linguistic and cultural diversity of our community. We currently have approximately 720 children and are beginning a new phase of our school life, expanding further. The school was built early in the 20th century and has since been re-furbished and is very well maintained.

We genuinely are a reflective, forward thinking school where we continuously strive to improve our practice, through using research and the sharing of best practice. Staff are given a wide opportunity to access differing forms of CPD and then work alongside colleagues to implement change. We encourage all staff to develop their leadership skills and contribute to whole school improvements. All the staff, and our active Governing Body, work very hard to meet the needs of all the families within the local neighbourhood and are committed to strengthening the links between home, school and community. We welcome anyone interested in working in our school. If you would like to visit the school to see how we work, please telephone the Reception Office and we will arrange a convenient time to visit.
