Bedminster Down School was established as an Academy in June 2012 previously being a Bristol LEA school established in 1955. The challenging and motivating curriculum at Bedminster Down ensures that the most able; those in need of additional support and all other learners are stretched and supported to achieve their potential. The students benefit and thrive in the learning environment that promotes high-quality learning experiences, teamwork, communication and independence. Lessons are supplemented by over twenty five extra-curricular activities. The curriculum and pastoral systems ensure students’ skills and abilities are nurtured and foster excellent relationships with parents.
