The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is a beautiful and vibrant borough in South West London.

There are ten secondary schools (nine academy and one community) and 35 primary schools in the borough. There are ten children's centres, nine of which are located within primary schools and one which has been organised as a centre of excellence. The three special schools in Kingston, which span the whole age range for children with moderate or severe learning difficulties or physical disabilities, work alongside a highly developed network of specialist SEN provision within the borough's mainstream schools.

The authority also works in partnership with two pupil referral units for secondary aged pupils. Kingston has arranged its schools into four geographical clusters: Kingston Town, Maldens and Coombe, South of the Borough and Surbiton. Kingston upon Thames presents a pleasant working environment and there is a friendly, co-operative atmosphere, valuing the contribution of each member of staff. As a multicultural borough, Kingston is keen to promote the employment of under-represented groups in the workforce. One of London’s liveliest boroughs. Life revolves around the Thames, with the buzzing market town of Kingston being the main attraction. Kingston High Street runs parallel to the Thames so it many of its favourite restaurants are found situated along the banks of the riverside.

With the popular Kingston University based here there is an abundance of bars and clubs to entertain the vibrant student population and younger residence.

Kingston upon Thames is one of the greener areas of the capital with two royal parks in neighbouring Richmond upon Thames. Local parks hold facilities to cater for all those who enjoy the great outdoors, such as Canbury Gardens which is home to the Kingston Rowing Club boathouse and is in turn a great spot for fishing.

Only half an hour from central London it has excellent train links. Situated near to the A3 and M25 it is also easily accessible by car. The river bus as an excellent alternative to get into Canary Wharf and London Bridge.
