Welcome to our school!Whether you are a parent / carer looking for the right school for your child, or a prospective employee of the school, we hope that this information will be useful to you. We have tried to include as much information as possible, but please feel welcome to come and see us personally. At Whitehorse Manor, we believe that children achieve best when there is a partnership between home and school. We will do everything we can to foster this. We value the fact that the children and staff at this school come from very varied backgrounds and from different countries around the world. Our community is made up of different races and religions and many staff and children speak languages other than English. We think this makes us a privileged community. We pride ourselves in the fact that our curriculum is designed for the children in our community. We place particular emphasis on the basic skills of literacy and numeracy and teach these within a rich, vibrant curriculum. We have a wide range of extra-curricular activities and we involve every child in whole school productions. We are proud to be on Ofsted's list of the country's most successful schools and to have been judged as "outstanding" in all areas in our inspection of 2007. We look forward to welcoming you personally.
