About Kingston
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is a beautiful and vibrant borough in the South West of London. Our schools are an important part of our local community and Kingston's schools have a reputation for offering high quality education. Places in both our primary and secondary schools are highly sought after.

There are 10 secondary schools and 34 primary schools in the Borough. We are developing seven children's centres, six of which are located within primary schools and one of which has been organised as a centre of excellence. The three special schools in Kingston work alongside a highly developed network of specialist SEN provision within the borough's mainstream schools. The Authority operates two pupil referral units for secondary aged pupils.

Kingston has arranged its schools into four geographical clusters: Kingston Town, Maldens and Coombe, South of the Borough and Surbiton.

Kingston upon Thames presents a pleasant working environment and there is a friendly, co-operative atmosphere, valuing the contribution of each member of staff.
