About Us

Frimley Church of England School has been a co-educational 7-11 Primary (Junior) School since September 1994. Its children come from a wide area surrounding Frimley Green from Camberley to North Camp and include some out of county pupils; the majority come from Frimley and Frimley Green close to the school. The children join us from a number of infant schools close by, the main ones being Cross Farm and Sandringham with whom excellent relationships exist. Close links are also developed with all other schools from whom we receive pupils.

Being a Voluntary Controlled School we maintain strong contacts with the Churches of St Andrew, Frimley Green, and St Peter, Frimley where we hold Christmas and Harvest services which benefit both the school and the local communities. It is unusual for a church school to be attached to two parishes but the association works well for all concerned and both churches are represented on the Governing Body.

Our school is a mixture of modern and old architecture. Year 3 is based in the original Victorian building. The central area which was originally the infant school, is home to Year 4, the Library, Staff Room and Admin office. The most recent addition to the main school building (1984) were four new classrooms and school offices and a separate Year 6 block. Further accommodation includes the school hall/ dining room and a Discovery Zone encompasing IT and library facilities. The school is fortunate to have extensive grounds which includes sports pitches and recreational play areas.

The school is a focal point for the community with an active and thriving group of parents who are welcome in the school to help support our activities in numerous ways. This works to the benefit of children, staff, parents and community alike.
