Fullbrook is a large, mixed comprehensive school focused on providing a rich and balanced learning environment for students from Year 7 to I3.
We support our students to develop a growth mindset approach, which can then be applied in their lives outside education. This ethos is adopted by the whole Fullbrook community, which encourages everyone to be better than they ever thought they could be and to help others achieve the same.
Being a Specialist Mathematics, Science & Technology College with Academy Status, we work to raise achievement across the curriculum and provide lifelong learning opportunities for Fullbrook students.
Our Vision
The Fullbrook community inspires an active passion for learning in everyone. We challenge, respect and support each other to be better than we ever thought we could be.
Every student at Fullbrook will have an active passion for lifelong learning and a growth mindset that, coupled with core strengths, enables them to be resourceful, resilient, respectful citizens of the 2Ist century. The Fullbrook curriculum is inclusive and inspiring: it is designed to be a progressive seven year model which supports students to be ready at each stage for the next step in learning. This enables them to prepare for success in their chosen careers in the local and wider world.
Fullbrook is immensely proud year in and year out with the GCSE and A’ Level results attained by the students, particularly in the context of the greater rigour and challenge of the new public exams. While the value of education should not be solely summed up in the results of a single exam, we are thrilled annually with the Progress 8 measurements and the percentage of students receiving grades 9-7 at GCSE, and the
percentage of students achieving A◆-B at A’ Level. Our ethos of inspiring an active passion for learning, and being better than you ever thought you could be, certainly rings true in the approach taken towards public exams.
Fullbrook students and staff benefit from a range of facilities for learning and leisure. These include recently refurbished science labs, state of the art fitness suite, large floodlit all weather pitch and tennis courts and our unique ‘stepping stone to university’ lecture room.
We are a collaborative Multi Academy Trust (MAT) built on partnership and thriving on local schools working together. Our aim is to offer the best schools to our communities, delivering outstanding education to every child. Learning Partners Academy Trust was set up by local schools to develop a MAT that sets high aspirations and goals for every school in the partnership.
The following schools – who share a common ethos, aims and vision - have come together as equal partners to establish a MAT called Learning Partners Academy Trust:
