Overview

St Cecilia’s Catholic Primary School is in the Dioceses of Southwark and the London Borough of Sutton. The school is situated in the parish of St. Cecilia’s on London Road, North Cheam.

The school is two form entry with a number on roll of 430. In addition there are 52 children attending part time in the Nursery. At St Cecilia's we value each pupil as a unique individual made in the image of God, whom we aim to provide with a framework for learning that will give them the skills and attitudes to fulfil their potential by developing their independence and self-confidence together with an enquiring mind.

As a Christian community our school ethos is based upon the Gospel values and we are concerned not only with our children's academic and intellectual development but also sensitive to their social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs.

About Us

Our school provides a warm and friendly atmosphere where children flourish due to the good relationships we share with our parents, our parishes and the wider community.

We work closely with our local Catholic schools in Kingston and Sutton, teachers moderate standards together and we join together for certain training events.

We have a large staff of 70 people, many of them part time with TAs highly focussed on interventions and support in the classroom.
