Welcome

I am very pleased to welcome you to Pippins School. Our learning community combines high expectations with quality teaching to ensure that every child achieves a personal best. Learning lies at the heart of all we do.  The curriculum is creative, rich, relevant, broad and balanced but English and Maths are pivotal and are prioritised within every subject area.

We provide a caring and secure environment for your child.  The Leadership Team, members of staff, the school’s Governing Body, and our Special Needs Team are very supportive and work with parents and children for the benefit of all. They can be contacted through the school office.

Our core purpose is to work in partnership with the families of our children to ensure that each individual receives the best education we can offer.  We encourage you to support our approach and work and to take an active part in your child’s education by being involved in school life.  Our school encourages children to take responsibility for their work and for their attitude towards others. We want our children to have the skills necessary for the future – to be confident and competent members of society.

Should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the school office or email for an appointment.

Our Vision and Values

‘Together we grow, Together we achieve’

Learning lies at the heart of all we do. We nurture our children, develop their strength and resilience and strive to realise the potential of every child. We believe that everyone can achieve, regardless of ability and aptitude. We include all, celebrating diversity and minimising any barriers to learning. Every child is significant, every child deserves the best and every child has the right to achieve. Trust and integrity are the cohesive elements that bind the partnership between home and school TOGETHER. Together, we celebrate and share success and achievement.

We are committed to:

Striving for continuous development in all that we do and recognise that learning is life-long

The values of friendship, respect, diversity, perseverance, collaboration, determination, honesty and excellence underpin our work. This is the core and pith of our apple; our metaphor.
