Welcome to the Frome Community College Career Site

Frome college is a thriving upper school full of incredibly talented people. our focus is to constantly develop our students, challenging them to achieve their personal best - and then some.

Our 2014 Ofsted report and the fantastic uplift in our results show we are rapidly on our way to becoming an 'Outstanding' college.

The strength of our relationships with our students is the foundation of our teaching practic and pastoral care. we provide a wealth of opportunities for students to help develop their strength of character; to this end, we want all our students to participate in extra-curricular activities which range from the Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme, annual skiing, water-sports and history trips, sports of all kinds and music for all tastes. The college has a five period timetable ending at 3pm and from 3pm to 4pm there is a voluntary 'slot 6' which offers some fantastic recreational activities including dance, rock-climbing and sports; in this period we also offer extra acedemic assistance in many subjects. All students are issued with a plan of slot 6 at the start of each term
