Overview

Madani welcomes pupils of all faiths and denominations from Year 7-11. The federation caters for 420 Boys and 420 Girls in two separate schools but share the same site. We are currently two very successful schools and are both categorised by OFSTED as GOOD.

The Madani Schools Federation School: Our most recent inspections for both, Madani Girls and Madani Boys School were graded as ‘Good’, with many exemplary and outstanding elements.  Our latest summer key performance information demonstrates that both of our schools are amongst the very best schools in the city of Leicester, Leicestershire, and the region in terms of progress and attainment and in the top percentiles in the DfE's published table of schools in the country overall.

The vision for our Federation is clear - Sustained world-class education & care that enables ALL learners to reach their personal excellence, equipped with the skills, identity, HEART values, character and leadership to contribute to the local community, British society & the world wholeheartedly.

Vision and Values

At Madani we care about the whole child, their educational achievement as well as their development as a person so that they leave us being able to contribute to those within their immediate community and the wider society.

The vision is simple, we want as many children locally and globally to benefit from an outstanding education provided by exceptional teaching staff that is based on common international values that bring us together as nations and not separate us according to our differences.

The values that underpin our philosophy and mission are also simple and are derived from our Islamic heritage, which deal with the condition and importance of the heart and place it at the core of the human being.

This development of excellence, ambition, drive, passion and character all stem from the heart and is central to our ethos and forms the foundation of our trust. These values are synonymous with the human values that make up the fabric of our society today and will last long into the future.

Honesty  We need to be honest with each other no matter how difficult it is.

Excellence We simply strive to be the best and share this excellence with others.

Accountability  We understand that all of us are accountable and therefore we must ensure that we take ownership of our actions.

Respect We respect those within our organisation and those around us with the services that we provide.

Teamwork We are clear that diversity is a strength and together anything can be achieved.

There is a saying of the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) that, “In the body there is a lump of flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt, and behold, it is the HEART.”
