The World is just a Dream

"The World is Just a Dream" is a short story written by 12 year old Troy Hutt who has been diagnosed with severe dyslexia. In his story he shares with us an insight into what life is like with dyslexia, and how he wishes the world could understand his disability more. The role of a Special Education Needs (SEN) teacher is usually to work with pupils who have learning difficulties, behavioural problems or physical or sensory disabilities. Whilst the National Curriculum is followed as closely as possible, sometimes the subject being taught is adapted slightly in order to suit the needs of the students.
