Overview

Welcome to The Bishop of Llandaff CiW High School

The Bishop of Llandaff is a co-educational Anglican secondary school, which meets the needs of children of all abilities. We serve the Christian and non-Christian communities within the city and surrounding areas of Cardiff, including the Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Bridgend.

Our aim is to ensure every child in our care achieves their full potential academically; develops the skills necessary to be successful in our ever-changing world; and understands a sense of morality guided by the gospel values. These aims are delivered through a strong pastoral system, a commitment to providing high quality learning experiences and an extensive range of sporting, cultural, physical and extra-curricular activities. Visitors to our school are impressed by the students, who are articulate, friendly and strive for excellence in all they do. Our dedicated team of staff are fully committed to providing the children with a first-class education. We will only recruit the finest teachers who help inspire, motivate and challenge our students to be the ‘best they can be’. Children have one chance in education. They deserve the best and our role at school is to ensure we provide them with this. We have the highest expectations of and for our students and we shall leave no stone unturned to achieve our goal. We will always focus on improving the quality of the education our young people experience and place great importance in working together in partnership with students, staff and parents.
