Debden Park High School, as part of the Kemnal Academies Trust, is delighted to announce that it is now recruiting trainee teachers for September 2013!
Why train with TKAT SCITT?
The TKAT SCITT programme provides exciting and innovative, classroom-based initial teacher training in a range of good and outstanding schools across Essex and Kent.
Trainees will spend 5 days a week in school; 4 days learning from outstanding practitioners in the classroom and one day a week developing pedagogical skills. Unlike University PGCE courses, our PGCE course guarantees that you will be taught and inspired by outstanding practitioners who are still working in the teaching profession, ensuring relevance, purpose and the sharing of excellent practice.
In addition to gaining a PGCE qualification, our course aims to put you on a pathway to a career, not just a job. In conjunction with Canterbury Christ Church University, our trainees will also gain 40 Masters credits to drive their professional development beyond the training year. TKAT also guarantees a month’s paid employment at the end of the course and our partnership of 30 schools creates a high opportunity for future employment. TKAT Subject training will continue in the NQT year and beyond for those who opt for our programme.
