Tauheedul Islam Boys’ High School (TIBHS) is a high-achieving secondary school in Blackburn. The school opened in 2012 to 100 Year 7 pupils and 50 Year 8 pupils. Each year the school admits a further 100 Year 7 pupils. The school has an inclusive approach to faith, welcoming pupils of all faiths and none and recognising that we are all part of, and contributing to, something far greater than ourselves. TIBHS is part of a successful family of schools, run by Star Academies.

Our mission is to promote a culture of educational excellence, character development and service to communities, from within a caring and secure Islamic environment enriched with the values of discipline, mutual care and respect, which extends beyond the school into the wider community.

Our vision is to nurture today's young people and inspire tomorrow's leaders. We are committed to fostering a learning campus - one where opportunities are tailored for the personal needs of each learner and their family.

Our job, as a school, is to help each and every young person discover and unlock their unique talents. This unshakeable belief drives our uncompromising pursuit of educational excellence. We believe that this is the best way to equip our pupils for university, the professions and success in whatever career they eventually choose.

We also believe that every student has an active role to play in society. Our Khidmat programme (community service programme) is designed to get our young people actively engaged in charity work and volunteering.

We expect our students to be creative, innovative, independent and resilient and we are committed to fostering their interest in social enterprise.

At TIBHS, students not only work hard but they play hard, too. We expect all students to participate actively in a range of extra-curricular clubs and teams.

With the support of parents, our staff and pupils work exceptionally hard to achieve results.  This dedication was recognised when, in only our second year of opening, Ofsted rated TIBHS as Outstanding in all areas.
