Marling School is a high achieving 11-16 grammar school for boys with a coeducational Sixth Form and 1170 students on roll. At Marling School we are ambitious for our students and they thrive in a vibrant academic environment that provides pace, challenge and support. We place an emphasis on the development of skills alongside knowledge so that our students become active and independent learners prepared for both further education and for their place in an increasingly global society. The School has a wide range of clubs and activities covering cultural as well as leisure and recreational interests. In recent years school expeditions and trips have visited the continents of Africa, Asia and the Americas in addition to Modern Language exchange visits to Europe. Marling has always had a significant role to play in the community and continues to further these links in the future. Our Vision as a School
Raising Aspirations, Inspiring Excellence, Succeeding Together
Excellence in academic work is at the centre of what we do, but we feel that it is equally important that students should develop confidence, self assurance and the ability to think for themselves within a firm moral and social framework. To this end we will promote enthusiasm for active, independent and continued learning.
