Our team have been hard at work rolling out the latest updates to our Eteach job board – and we’ve made some substantial and exciting changes. From a new layout to even more navigation options and speedier search times, here’s how our most recent improvements are making the search for your next role even easier…
Enhanced mobile browsing
We know that mobile phones are overwhelmingly the preferred device to browse jobs on, which is why we’ve rebuilt our job search, putting your mobile browsing experience first. This means that you don’t have to wait to be sat at your desk to start applying for roles – it’s even easier to search and find the right roles from your smartphone, and you can apply instantly when you’re on-the-go. Filter by Fast Apply jobs to find jobs with the best mobile application experience.
Updated layout
As well as our focus on mobile optimisation, the overall layout of our job search has been improved, regardless of your device type. With a sleeker display, you’ll find the key information that you need to know about a role with less distractions.
To make your experience even easier, all relevant information on our job adverts is now separated into different tabs – job description, supporting documentation, employer information and location – meaning you can alternate between sections with a click to find out more about each vacancy. Plus, you can view all of this without navigating away from your original search, as all your filtered roles will display stacked on the left-hand side of the screen.
Improved filtering
Our filtering options have also been made more intuitive, letting you easily sort roles by criteria such as remote working, full- or part-time work, and more. With these options, you can narrow down your perfect job criteria in more depth, letting you find only the most relevant roles for you. You can also sort your filtered search results by relevance, recently posted or expiring roles, dependent on what suits you. And once you’ve perfected your search, why not create it as a job alert and be the first to know when your ideal job is posted!
Quicker search and loading times
Time is valuable when you’re an educator searching for roles – alongside our mobile-first approach, we’ve made your job search speedier by reducing our site loading times. This means you’ll find the jobs you want, faster! Alongside our existing Fast Apply filter, you could be searching and applying for roles in just a few clicks – saving you hassle and giving you valuable time back to focus on what you do best.
Our job search updates will no doubt feel like a big change to begin with, but backed up by research into the latest user experience and your feedback, we have made and will continue to make changes that put you at the heart of our site.
