Five Acres High School have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our existing Science team on a full-time basis.
We are looking for someone who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and able to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses and act appropriately. You should hold a QTS and relevant degree. You will need to have a commitment to high standards and expectations and share in our values.
As a Science Teacher you will;
We are looking for an enthusiastic subject specialist to join our committed Science Department. The successful candidate will motivate, challenge, support and inspire our students. They must also have relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
The duties and responsibilities in this job description are not restrictive and the post holder may be required to undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time. Any such duties should not however substantially change the general character of the post.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Implementing and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
• Monitoring and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Tutor.
• Facilitating and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
• Contributing to raising standards of student attainment.
• Sharing and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
