JOB TITLE: ALN AND BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT OFFICER

SALARY: GRADE 5 - £24,054 TO £26,845 (pro rata)

HRS/WEEK: 27 ½ HRS

WEEKS/YEAR: 39 WEEKS

CONTRACT: TEMPORARY (ONE YEAR THEN REVIEWED –SUBJECT TO FUNDING)

START DATE: 1ST SEPTEMBER 2023

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed Attendance and Behaviour Support officer. This exciting opportunity will require the successful candidate to work closely with the Attendance officer, Wellbeing team and other key staff to support individual and groups pupils to improve their attendance.

This post would be ideal for someone who is perhaps a graduate and/or wishing to train in the future as a teacher. It would also suit somebody with experience of working with young children or simply somebody with the passion and enthusiasm to enrich the lives of our learners.

The hourly rate is £12.47 to £13.91

For this role you should have:

• strong spoken and written English plus good command of mathematical skills;

• good organisational skills, flexibility and ability to use your own initiative;

• effective communication skills and be a team player;

• the ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children;

• a desire to work as part of a forward looking and knowledgeable teaching team.
