The Nicholas Hamond Academy is part of the Academy Transformation Trust group of academies, whose mission is to transform learning, aspirations and opportunities for their pupils and the communities in which they live. This commitment also extends to staff who are key to their success. The academy aims to encourage and help develop self-discipline and a positive attitude towards learning and progress, engaging pupils and staff fully with the academy ethos of ‘being the best that we can be’.

We are looking for highly organised and innovative team player who is motivated and committed to the success of the academy. In particular, we are looking for someone who has a strong interest in developing the pastoral welfare and behaviour culture of our students. Supporting our visionary Principal, you’ll roll up your sleeves and make things happen, with every opportunity to put your stamp on the way we think. But we’re not just looking for an ideas person: you’ll need to translate your vision into reality and finish whatever you start, delivering concrete change rather than abstract strategies.
