We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and forward thinking Curriculum Leader to head our excellent Mathematics faculty. Mathematics in recent years has been our strongest performing department with outcomes being well above average in terms of progress year on year. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated professional to continue to develop the Maths provision within the school and ensure that our students are achieving their potential.
As Curriculum Leader, you will have well developed leadership skills to build upon the department’s current achievements as well as having the ability to think outside the box to ensure students are eager to learn. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record enthusing and engaging students.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality
