Come and join our friendly team at Ravens Academy, as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), Attendance and Pastoral Officer, supporting the Principal with the continuous improvement of the academy; championing the vision, ethos and inclusivity that make Ravens Academy such a special place to learn and work
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual to be the Academy’s DDSL, to work in support of the DSL to ensure the academy safeguarding procedures and policies are adhered to. This role will include liaising with external agencies and developing and managing attendance initiatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly team.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding and evidentiary experience of implanting statutory safeguarding guidance and policies plus experience of compliance and auditing within a safeguarding setting. This role requires, a grade C/4 or above in English and Maths together with a relevant professional level 3 qualification and experience of working in an education or social services environment.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be flexible and have the ability to relate well to children and adults. We welcome applications from ambitious candidates, keen to make a difference who have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student.
