Westbourne Academy is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for our English as an Additional Language department. Someone who strives to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team of teachers to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.
About you:
We are looking for an individual who has drive, energy, a passion for teaching and learning and who relishes the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, well organised, flexible and able to support students in the classroom. The students range from Year 7 to Year 11 and have a variety of support requirements. Previous experience of a role in an educational establishment is desirable but not essential. As this role requires supporting students in lessons, a level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths is essential.
