We are looking for a well-qualified and inspirational Head of Design & Technology. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring and exceptional leader and classroom practitioner to work in a supportive and successful faculty within our Academy. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and motivational professional with experience of teaching DT and Engineering at KS3 and KS4 and Technology to A Level. Experience in teaching OCR National level 1/2 Engineering, WJEC Level 1/2 Engineering, A Level Product design or an Engineering degree would also be advantageous.

You will be joining a dynamic and exciting Art, Design & Technology Faculty, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

Key responsibilities for teaching staff:

• Ensure all teaching is rated ‘good’ or better.

• Ensure all students make outstanding progress and achieve challenging targets.

• Fully implement all Academy policies and procedures.
