Lunchtime Assistant
Iceni Academy – Hockwold Primary Site
Grade A Pt 1 (pro rata) £2463.22 per annum actual salary

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and reliable Lunchtime Assistant to support and supervise children at lunchtime in the dining hall and in the playground.
Working hours: 11.45-1pm Monday to Friday - 39 weeks per year, (Term time, including 5 training days).
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Encourage good manners and high standards of behaviour
• Have the energy, motivation and skill to promote games and play
• Encourage and model good social interaction skills
• Work as part of a team
• Have a knowledge of first aid and behaviour management strategies
• Be willing to undertake training

Iceni Academy requires for an immediate start, a proactive, enthusiastic Midday Assistant. The successful candidates will supervise the care of pupils under the direction of the Principal and support the teacher with helping the children progress in their learning.
