Regional HR Officer – West Region

Walsall and Willenhall

Deliver an excellent people service so our colleagues can prepare children for success

#TransformingLives

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Academy Transformation Trust’s regional HR team as a Regional HR Officer in their West region working across one secondary academy and 3 primary academies.

Working closely with academies in our West region, you will provide a proactive HR service whilst supporting the Business Partner to shape the people strategy for the future. In particular, you will act as an advisor to academy leaders, teachers and support staff, collaborate with a team of HR administrators in academies, advising on employment practices, learning and development, pay and conditions, talent planning, absence and welfare and disciplinary and grievance matters. Equally importantly, you will drive profound change to ensure we comply with evolving legislation – and above all, that we remain an employer of choice.

A CIPD-qualified professional (or working towards), you will bring sound generalist HR experience gained in a fast-moving environment. You will need experience of case management, the ability to interpret and apply guidelines, experience of advising senior leaders and have the experience to be able to define best practice. Familiarity with educational issues would naturally be useful, but your interpersonal, conflict resolution and influencing skills will be of far more importance.

At Academy Transformation Trust, we’re on a mission. We want to transform education, performance and lives, and we give all colleagues the very best support and development with their careers across our network of academies. A not-for-profit trust, we focus on our students’ interests in everything we do, and we are passionate about using innovative technology to accelerate learning. We work inclusively within our communities, embracing the varied localities we serve while sharing our common vision and values. At ATT we are passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and welcome all applications.

In return, we offer to you:

• An amazing people development offer through our ATT Institute providing you with continuous self-development.

• A comprehensive package of benefits via our benefits platform. You will enjoy a generous pension scheme, shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets and an employee assistance programme.

• We are happy to talk flexible working with all applicants for all roles.

Closing date: Sunday 25th July 2021, 11:59pm
