The Academy is looking to appoint an an enthusiastic and confident person who will work well as part of the Safeguarding and Pastoral Team. The Student Support Lead (Pastoral and Safeguarding) will support our Leaders of Learning & Achievement through leading and implementing high quality pastoral and safeguarding support, ensuring high attendance, identifying behavioural issues and finding strategies to intervene.

If you have demonstrable experience within a similar role, enjoy working with young people and would like to help them as they prepare for their future working lives, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have experience of working closely with individuals and groups of students to effectively deal with pastoral matters throughout the school day. You will provide support in our internal Isolation Unit. We are looking for a person who can offer effective communication skills to liaise closely and collaborate with external agencies and the Pastoral team.
