Be part of something life changing.
For our students and for you.
At the heart of Academy Transformation Trust, Sutton Community Academy is anything but just another school. We’re a hub of the local community – a place where people learn, grow, share and discover their full potential. For our staff, that means heavy investment in CPD, so that today’s teachers can become tomorrow’s inspiring school leaders, either here or elsewhere within the Trust. In short, this is a journey that could take you almost anywhere.
Inspiring a lifelong love of Science, you will ensure that your lessons are involving and exciting, achieving at least a Good rating from Ofsted. At the same time, you will play a central part in curriculum development and participate in our wide range of community activities, so you will be a real catalyst for change.
Ideally you will be experienced in teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 as well as Physics at KS5.You will certainly be adept at tutoring and mentoring students of all abilities and overcoming barriers to education to transform attainment and outcomes. Familiarity with Progress 8 and its impacts would be very useful, as would exposure to pupils with SEND, but it’s your vision, drive and determination that will count above all.
In return, we offer flexible working plus 42 Leadership Development Pathways to stretch your mind and expand your skills, enabling you to tailor your own career path. That path could embrace any of our 21 Academies across 10 Local Authority Areas, serving 12,500 learners. With Academy Transformation Trust, the sky really is the limit.
We are passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and welcome all applicants. We are a Disability Confident Employer.
