NJC Scale 6 - 10 £15,460 - £16,735 per annum, actual salary

(FTE £19,698 - £21,322 per annum)

The Queen Elizabeth Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic Learning Support department, and our forward thinking, modern academy. We are looking to recruit someone with a child centered approach and excellent people skills to support students effectively in order for them to fully participate in learning. You will be joining an experienced and exciting department, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

We are determined to provide the very best experience for our students and have a passion for student centred learning which removes the barriers to learning where ever they exist. The successful candidate will work closely with students, both individually and as a group, and have effective communication skills to liaise closely and collaborate with staff throughout the Academy.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality
