ASPIRE, GROW, SUCCEED
Are you passionate about working with young people and making a positive difference to their day-to-day school experience?
Would you like to build your experience in education as part of a supportive and committed team?
If so, we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Cover Supervisor/Assistant Teacher to join our team. This role involves supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and fully engaged in their learning, while maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment.
When not covering lessons, you will support the wider life of the school, contributing across departments through a range of activities, including working with students in lessons, assisting with the development of resources, and helping ensure the smooth running of the school day.
You do not need to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to apply. However, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, confidence in managing groups of students and a genuine commitment to supporting young people to succeed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in teaching, or for an experienced practitioner looking to develop their classroom practice in a supportive and forward-thinking school. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
The core hours for this role are 33.25 hours per week. We are open to discussing flexible or part-time arrangements, provided full school days are covered, and welcome conversations about how this role could work for you. There may be the potential to increase hours for the right candidate, depending on the needs of the school.
