Welcome from the Headteacher

Our school is set in the beautiful Swiss style valley, with close links with All Saints Church, with whom we share a number of spaces, including the Church hall and Glebe field.

We are a primary academy within the Futura Learning Partnership.

Within school our children develop a strong learning community, where positive relationships are developed. Children are valued and nurtured, whilst being challenged educationally, within a supportive environment. All Saints also promotes creativity through ensuring a love of learning, where children immerse themselves in their work. I am most proud of the achievements of our pupils, the commitment and professionalism of our staff and the partnerships we have with our parents and local community. Our staff have been with the school for a number of years and are very experienced and committed to supporting the learning of every child.

The Victorian building was opened as a primary school on 28th June 1873, and we are looking forward to celebrating the school being 150 years old in 2023. Between 2016 and 2018 the school was completely redeveloped, with a large 4 classroom block being constructed and all parts of the school upgraded and regenerated. Saxby Cottage also become part of the school. The children benefit from a wide range of new technology and large classrooms.

We use every part of our site to its full potential and also benefit from renting the Church hall and the Glebe field. The field provides us with a larger play space, an area for PE and also for outside learning.

We have high expectations and work to bring out the best of every child personally, socially and academically. We are a small school who develop confident learners that are able to take their skills forward into secondary education.

Mr. Stephen Webber

Our Vision and Values

We are a caring and supportive school community, where everyone feels valued.

We promote understanding and respect for the Christian faith and for the spiritual, cultural and moral value of others.

We keep our children safe by nurturing a high level of trust and respect throughout the school; promoting high standards of behaviour.

We are learning centred; creating learners who are confident, ready, willing and able to take on a world that does not yet exist.

We challenge; providing an educational environment in which pupils have every opportunity to achieve and be successful.

We are inclusive; welcoming every child and appreciating them as individuals, ensuring that every member of our school community has a voice.

We are creative, dynamic and innovative in our approaches to teaching and learning; providing a rich, varied and progressive range of learning experiences.

We celebrate success by recognising and valuing every child’s personal achievements and contributions.

We are welcoming and value strong partnerships and positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.

The Essence of All Saints

The school has its unique approach to engaging children in an active and progressive curriculum.

The Essence of All Saints CofE VC Primary School provides staff, children and parents with an overview of how the school operates daily and where the foundations of what we do originate.

We are all proud of our school and how learning is nurtured, which promotes our School Ethos and Christian Values.
