WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER GOVERNORS TO JOIN OUR SCHOOL BOARD.
Are you passionate about improving education for young people within the local community? Do you have skills and knowledge in SEND, Early Years and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion? Want to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children, staff, and families in this area?
This is a volunteer role and as a Governor you will:
- Foster a culture that prioritises the safety and wellbeing of all pupils and staff in the school,
- monitor the overall effectiveness of the school's SEND provision, referring to pupil outcomes and other relevant data,
- monitor school performance and improvement through regular reviews of performance data,
- consult stakeholders such as parents, staff and pupils, and use these insights to inform decision-making.
