Are you a passionate and experienced educator ready to lead inclusive practice in a thriving, values-driven school? Ashley Down Primary School is seeking a dynamic SENCo to join our dedicated team and shape the future of SEND provision.
We are proud of our inclusive ethos and collective commitment to supporting every child. Our recent Ofsted report (Dec 2024) praised our ambitious curriculum, high expectations, and strong staff subject knowledge. It also recognised the strength of our SEND provision and the nurturing environment we’ve built together.
As SENCo, you will:
• Lead and develop our SEND strategy in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
• Support and guide staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching.
• Work closely with families and external agencies to ensure every child thrives.
• Manage the SEND register, EHCP reviews, and statutory documentation.
• Be part of our Designated Safeguarding Team.
