Askham Bryan College are proud to be the largest land-based education provider in the UK and one of the leading land-based colleges in the country. We employ over 700 staff, in addition to a number of part-time tutors.
Askham Bryan College has two residential campuses, in York and in Penrith, as well as Centres throughout the North of England.

This is an on-line and / or telephone-based externally provided support service which is completely confidential and is available to all staff and their immediate families. It provides advice on all manner of issues, from health concerns, money matters, legal disputes and family problems. Free face-to-face counselling sessions are also available through this service.
We actively promote the development of staff and encourage all employees to gain additional qualifications and develop their skills. A formal programme of training and development are held each year which all staff attend and as a new member of staff you will be provided with a structured induction programme.
We support many staff through long courses, such as degrees or postgraduate qualifications, as well as short courses, mentoring and coaching programmes. The College makes generous provision for learning each year, and learning needs are discussed at least annually as part of the appraisal process. We are proud to hold Investor in People status.
The College has recently joined the 'Everybody Benefits Scheme' which provides savings at many High Street stores and most major supermarkets to allow staff even more savings, whether on-line or in-store.
Staff can purchase plants from our excellent Horticulture Department at competitive prices. Cut flowers, floral arrangements and bouquets are available to purchase from “The Greenhouse”, the College's floristry shop.
Our York and Newton Rigg Colleges boast good sports facilities, which staff are welcome to use subject to availability, including a gym/fitness suite.
