Maternity Cover  – 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

Salary: SP22 - £23,814.00 per annum, pro rata


Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, learner focused and inspirational Entry level course manager, animal care to join the foundation learning department at the York Campus. The post is 0.6 (22.2hours), fixed term maternity cover commencing February 2021.

We are passionate about our learners with our learners at the forefront of everything we do. You will specialise in teaching animal care to our high need’s learners, delivering the practical skills and theoretical knowledge our learners need to progress. You will also provide pastoral support, tutorial support and teach employability skills to high needs learners. You will understand learners with EHCPs, more importantly your passion for learners will shine through in everything you do. If you feel that you have the skills and ability to fulfil this role we would love to hear from you.
