Maternity Cover

Full time, 37 hours per week, job share would be considered

Salary - £23,814 per annum, dependent on experience

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, highly experienced, learner focused and inspirational high needs animal care lecturer to join the foundation learning department at the York Campus. The post is a full time, fixed term, maternity cover commencing December 2020 until October 2021.

We are passionate about our learners with our learners at the forefront of everything we do. You will specialise in teaching animal care to our high need’s learners, delivering the practical skills and theoretical knowledge our learners need to progress. You will also be experienced in providing pastoral support, tutorial support and teaching employability skills to high needs learners. You will have a deep and grounded understanding of learners with EHCPs, more importantly your passion for learners will shine through in everything you do. If you feel that you have the skills and ability to fulfil this role we would love to hear from you.
